FEBRUARY FAVES

1. Every year my hubby gets London and I shoes for Valentines day. This year I actually got two pairs (lucky, lucky girl), but the ones I am loving are these Ugg flats. They are the perfect thing to just slip on, and they go with everything. Plus just like Ugg boots, these shoes are super fluffy and cozy on the inside. I think I will get a lot of wear out of these come summer time.

2. In December of last year I decided to join the Book of the Month club. Mostly because one of my goals is to read more, but also because it's fun to get happy mail. I like having that little extra push to read through out the month. Gotta get my books read before new ones come!

3. I have been trying to find "planner peace" since I got my first planner over a year ago. I am happy to say that I think I have found it thanks to the Little Blue Garden Etsy shop. They sell some pretty great printable planner stickers that are right up my alley. Maybe I will share my planner with you all sometime.

4. Diet Pepsi is my drink of choice, and I usually want one first thing in the morning. I have been taking a look at what I put in my body lately, and I have decided that pop of all kind should be eliminated from my diet. I have made this a goal of mine many times... progress not perfection right! One of the things that is helping me this time around is La Croix. I have tried many flavors, but the grapefruit kind is one of my faves.

5. It is not secret that I LOVE Felicity Jane kits, and I am not just saying that because I am on their design team. Even though I have loved every kit that has ever been sent my way, February's kit was just a little more special. The reason why, it was the "London" kit!! How cool is that. You can find more info about the Felicity Jane kits here.

JANUARY FAVES

1. When I am sitting at my desk working on anything, the first think I will do is check out Netflix and pick a movie to play on the TV.  Lately I have been picking Mona Lisa Smile because its just the perfect movie to watch when you not really watching it!

2. One of my daughters favorite snacks are the Cheddar Bunnies form Annie's, so we always have some in our pantry. That my friends, is a good thing because these little cheese crackers are delicious. I love that they are shaped like little bunnies too, so cute!! I have been finding myself reaching for these little tasty crackers a lot during the day, or just bringing the whole container to my scrap desk while I work. That is never a good idea!

3. I have never had a skin care regimen that I stick to, or even skin care products that are my tried and trues. I usually will just look at the shelves until something catches my eye, which is exactly what happened when I bought this No 7 Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator. I like to use an exfoliator about once a week, but I am totally not picky about what one I use. What I like most about this one is the smell. I am absolutely HORRIBLE at describing smells, but this has that "nice smelling beauty product" smell to it.  haha.

4. I have a handful of eye shadow palettes that I sorta rotate through with no rhyme or reason, but lately I have been loving this Too Faced Natural Eyes . The colors are very beautiful and I can easily do an everyday no makeup look or something a little more fancy on those special days. I find that I don't get overwhelmed with options when I use this palette, which I always appreciate.

5. I have decided to keep up with a weekly Project Life® album again for 2017. I usually pick out a title card to use of each spread, and this year I decided to go with these ones by Paislee Press. They are a digital item, so I can just print them out and stick them in my album, but I can also use them as an overlay on one of my favorite photos from the week. I have been loving the look of them so far in my album!

Well that is it, another month down and another favorites list!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

DECEMBER FAVES

1. This Is Us was a few episodes in before I jumped on the train, which was a bummer! It only took that one episode to get totally hooked though. I probably watch too much TV, but there are very few shows that I actually REALLY love and this is definitely one of them! I missed the heck out of it over the holiday break and am pretty anxious to see more episodes!

2. I bought Ticket To Ride for my little brother for Christmas because I thought I heard him mention it once. We played it on Christmas day and it was an instant favorite. It's basically a train adventure game where the players collect and play matching train cards to claim railway routes across the country. The more routes you complete the higher your score. I love that it is a game that a group of people can play, but also one that just my hubby and I can enjoy too.

3. Home Alone was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, but I honestly think I was a kid the last time I watched it. My hubby and I for a brief moment decided that we were going to do the 12 days of Christmas movies. After seeing Home Alone at Target one night we decided that it would be the choice for our first night of movie watching. Turns out I love it just as much now as I did when I was a kid! We actually gave up our movie watching adventure after just a few days because we could never stay away to finish any of them! oh well.

4.I got some Celebrity Pink Trendy Infinite Stretch jeans in my December's Dia & Co box. Hands down one of the best pair of jeans that I own! The color was super cute and the comfort level was on point. Plus they truly were skinny jeans, meaning they were fitted in the thigh AND the calf. I am sure it is just a plus size problem, but the other skinny jeans I have fit great in the hip and thigh area, but are a little more loose in the calf. I am tempted to buy them in red too!

5. This was our second year in a row that we attended our local showing of the Nutcracker. I think the girls like it a bit more than the boys, but its a new tradition that I look forward too. We usually show up a little early so that we can buy a new Nutcracker to add to our small, but growing collection. Plus it is absolutely adorable to watch how excited my daughter gets when the big Nutcracker appears on stage. I hope she will keep that excitement for many, many years.

NOVEMBER FAVES

1. Over this past year I have been really trying to find a planning style that fits me and my budget. I have discovered printable planner stickers on Etsy, and I quickly discovered how awesome they are. Really affordable, and so many options. I have found that if you are going to go down the road of printing your own stickers (and you get super frustrated by your Silhouette) the Gyro-cut is a must. I am still getting the hang of this handy tool, but it does a pretty decent job at kiss cutting my stickers.

2. I have a lot of lip products that could put on my Top 5 list, and I have. This month I have found myself reaching for is the Smith's Rosebud balm. This salve is helpful for so many things (minor burns, diaper rash, cuticles) but I just use it on my lips! It is pretty moisturizing, but my favorite part is the fantastic scent. It has the pretties rosebud smell that is not at all overwhelming!

3. When I saw the Celestial holiday teas show up in my grocery store, I nabbed them up as fast as I could. I got all the herbal flavors I could find, and they are all so delicious. My favorite of the bunch though is the Gingerbread Spice flavor. It spicy and gingerbready and just delicious. I like drinking mine with a little honey and cream in it! So so good.

4. My hubby bought me some super comfy Mini Ugg boots for Valentines day last year. It finally got cold enough this month that I went searching for them. I forgot how much I love them! If they weren't so rough on the ol' wallet I would probably buy all the colors I could get.

5. My Top 5 would not be complete without the Gilmore girls: A Year in the Life on it. I was SOOOOOO excited for this to come out. I know they everybody has their own opinion these new episodes, but I really like it. I didn't have any expectations going into this, so I wasn't disappointed by any of it. Of course I had my fair share of "are you kidding me", but over all I loved it. Crossing my fingers that this is not the last we see of those Gilmore girls.

OCTOBER FAVORITES

1. I am the type of person that likes to have a beverage on my desk as I work. If it is not a glass of ice cold water, it is usually a cup of herbal tea. Lately I have been really enjoying this wild berries tea from Twinings. I add just a bit of honey to it and enjoy it hot or cold, which makes it the perfect go to drink.

2. I went to a Norwex party a few months ago and picked up a few things. I haven't tried all of my products yet, but one thing I have tried is the EnviroCloth, and man is it amazing. Not only does it "safely" clean my home, but it does a really good job at it. Plus I love that it comes in pink.

3. I seem to go through bath phases. I either want to take one every night, or not at all. This past month I have been on the take one every night phase. Of course I want my bath to be a super fun girly one, so I always like to add a bath bomb or bubble bar from my Lush stash. My favorite go to faves are the sex bomb and the butterball.

4. My hubby bought me this Kate Spade glass water bottle for my birthday back in March. I seriously love it so much and want it in every color option. When I am drinking my ice water or cold tea, this is what I am drinking it from.

5. Ah Felicity Jane papers. I can't say enough good things about them. I especially love the colors and patterns that are in the October's "Emeline" kit, but I think I might say that every month. I actually decided to make some new dividers for my planner out of these beautiful papers.

JANUARY FAVES

Banning Lane | January faves

1. about 6 months ago I discovered this Out The Door top coat and it was a game changer for me.  It dries super fast and leaves your nails super duper shiny! Best top coat EVER!!

2. I have a long list of lip products that I love, but this NYX butter gloss is probably in the top five. Creme Brulee and Tiramisu are my current go to options

3. I have always liked Soap & Glory Hand Food, and the last time I was in Ulta I saw they had body wash too! (Soap & Glory Clean On Me) Of course I had to get some.  I was not disappointed!!

4. Last year I used these digital title cards every week in my Project Life® album. I really liked the look of them, but it was kinda a pain printing them out every week. I decided to switch things up a bit when I saw this One Little Bird stamp set from Studio Calico. So far I am liking it!

5. I have never met a Felicity Jane kit I didn't like. Full disclosure, I am on the Felicity Jane creative team... but I was also loving and subscribing to these kits long before I became a team member. When I got January's Susie kit in the mail I loved everything about it and had so much fun working with it. This kit is not longer available, but February's kit is and it is just as fantastic. You can check that kit out here.

NOVEMBER FAVES

1. I have been on a huge herbal tea kick lately, and this chocolate orange herbal tea from Stash has been my favorite. I usually add a bit of cream and honey to it... super yummy!

2. Speaking of honey, I love the Raw Honey Enriched With Royal Jelly from Stakich. It is a bit more pricey but I really like it.

3. I have rediscovered my It Cosmetics Butter Gloss and I am wondering why I ever stopped using it. I use the naturally pretty shade. It has the prettiest shine and just a hint of color. I LOVE it.

4. Whenever we get together with family, you can bet a game will be played. We had family stay with us for the Thanksgiving holiday and we all seemed to enjoy playing Five Crowns. We got this game for my mom last year for Christmas, and it is pretty simple and fun.

5. I am not a big candle person, but I like having them on hand to light  if I know I am going to have company. I really like the Sweater Weather scent form Bath and Body Works. It's my go to choice as of late.

October Faves

1. I am loving my new Kikki K planner. I haven't really used it yet, but have bought a bunch of inserts, and stickers for it. I'll be sure to do a blog post when I get it set up.

2. I have been choosing to put a little make up on lately. One of my go to products is my Nars Laguna bronzer. I think it just brings everything together and adds a really pretty warmth to my face

3. Black polka dot washi, you just can't get any better than that. I got this to use in my planner and I can already tell it will be a go to choice for me.

4. This Nivea chap stick is the best. The olive oil and lemon flavor is my favorite, but milk and honey is a close second. I find them at Ulta.

5. I started watching Parks and Recreation after my Brother and Mom recommended it. I was hooked after watching just a few episodes. It didn't take me long to finish all the seasons.

What are some of your Netfilx faves?? I would love to add some to my list!

Thanks for stopping by.

Septembers Top Five

I thought it would be fun to do a favorites post at the end of every month. Here are Septembers.
Banning Lane | Septembers Faves

1. I have been binge watching Ally McBeal on Netflix. I can't believe Billy died. I had always hoped the Ally and him would get together.

2. Diet Pepsi from a can. In the morning its the first thing I want. I hope to break that habit soon.

3. I have been LOVING instagram lately. If you're not following me you should (@banninglane)

4. Tony Moly lip balm is the best. I usually put in on before I go to bed, and after my morning shower.

5. I just don't think I could scrapbook without my sewing machine. Its definitely a go to technique for me.

What are your current favorites?
